Heh. I remember when the floor mics caught wrestlers ad-libbing during a match (actually talking about what to do next) and it was broadcast as "breaking news." Or the time Hacksaw Jim Duggan (great American man!) was caught while driving with marijuana -- the biggest fallout wasn't the fact he was pulling an RVD, but rather he was in the car with with the Iron "make you humble" Shiek. I do like how Punk, at least a few months back, was embracing kayfabe by... well, let's face it, pulling a Flying Brian Pillman by dropping names and not caring. It would have been great had he been able to keep giving audiences a nudge-nudge wink-wink a little longer. Probably the biggest reason Internet Champ Zack Ryder is still popular.
