I'm sure it's a coincidence, but ever since I started getting the warnings about this site, Fire Fox completely broke. It still isn't working good. Takes forever to load pages, some times it'll time out. Some times if it's taking too long to load a page I'll close FF out, but just the window will close. I have to go into Task Manager and close out the process because it's still running. But the weirdness was happening on my brother's and mother's computer last night too, and those computers have never been to this site before, so IDK what's going on. I thought my Internet was just being funky, but today FF is still being weird. I'm on Chrome now and everything seems normal. I'll check out the other computers in the house and again and see what's up, and I might reinstall FF and see if that does anything.

My FF didn't want to pull up Racket when typing in the address and arrowing to the history to grab it. FF kept freezing. I scanned my PC to be sure and that came up clean. I went to Google and searched for racketboy.com which no longer had the added line saying it was bad. Clicked that link for racket and it's been back to normal. Maybe there's some weird cache of the funkiness and repicking the link from elsewhere cleared it? Maybe have a try.

I forgot to mention that, yes, I no longer get the alert when visiting this site, on any browser. But FF is being weird with any site that I go to. I think I'll just uninstall FF and then install it fresh and see if it goes back to normal. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind making the switch to Chrome if only the bookmarks worked like they do in FF (Ctrl+F w/ a search box). Maybe there's an add-on?

And oh yeah, I went on FF on my brother's and mother's computer just now. Went to a few random sites and clicked some random links. Working fine as far as I can tell. FF is only broken on my computer. Weird.

edit: Nope, still loading a little funky at times even with Chrome. I just clicked on the link in the "violent games alter brain" thread and it timed out. I had to reload.

It's possible you got infected by the malware, and that's what's slowing down your browsing. If multiple browsers on one computer are acting strange, and other computers on the same network don't have any problems that's a red flag. Malware may be passing your traffic through a proxy or something that's causing it to time out.

Firefox has died on me too. Chrome seems fine though. Ran spybot search and destroy and it said everything was fine though. :?
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.
