Thank you. We just can't emphasis it enough, we all want to see the Rock beat Cena's ass come this WM, but seriously in the grand scheme of things, it's almost embarrassing he has to come back to fight THIS guy of all people. THIS guy is the one that's been carrying the torch of this company for the last decade? How the hell do you go from Austin/Rock to ... Cena? My ultimate guess is that a lot of old fans like myself jumped ship when the WCW/WWF merger was handled so poorly and things just went to crap. From there, we all left, things tamed down, and a new era of young kids and fans came in just in the right time for Cena and have stuck with him since. That's the only way I can make sense of the whole situation. Cena didn't even have to try to work his way to the top unlike others such as Bret, Shawn, Rock, etc, Cena was just put there by the damn company and they keep him there for no reason. That's why I hate seeing Punk bust his ass off when in the end even if he's getting the belt off and on lately, the "hot potato" game will probably keep rolling and he may never get the real spotlight or push that he deserves.Gamerforlife wrote:I get the sad feeling that the people who run WWE and TNA just don't care. The kind of passion that you see from fans they just don't have for the business. It's like they are content with the amount of money they make and have no ambition to do better. Cena is the # 1 example of this. When your top babyface gets booed out of buildings and you still keep pushing him anyway because you're content with having only like fifty percent of your audience behind your top guy, that's sad. That's a company that just doesn't have the ambition, the desire to improve, the yearning to please the fans or the passion to present the best product possible. When I say the company, I should really be saying Vince McMahon. Either he doesn't care anymore, or he just doesn't know what he's doing anymore with senility setting in
John Cena is a symbol to me. A symbol of a company that's just coasting by and mailing it in. If Cena is the best you've got, then you're really not trying. Seeing him alongside the Rock is like seeing a midcarder standing by a legend.
Seriously, I cannot even begin to express how mindboggling it is that Cena is basically in the position of the likes of Hogan, Flair, Savage, Warrior, Bret, Shawn, Undertaker, Austin, and Rock. He is a total bitch compared to these guys. I want him gone. I know for a fact I'd be enjoying the WWE probably like 10x more right now if he were out of the picture completely. You think I'm gonna care to remember this guy at all when he leaves? Unlike the other guys mentioned there? No I won't give a crap to remember him. He brought nothing to the table and he obviously has absolutely zero talent in being able to reinvent himself unlike guys such as Jericho and others.
