Any SNES or Genesis Shmup Experts?
Re: Any SNES or Genesis Shmup Experts?
I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I'd be willing to throw in some more obscure titles if there's a collaboration.

It's a little old, but still a good guide for Gen/MD shmups. It's just too bad it isn't complete.

I own a ton of PC Engine shmups, so if you need someone in that dept, contact me!

bump.
Will we see this article one day? I'd love to read a 16-bit equivalent of what's up for Saturn and PS1.

I would be able to assist with Genesis shmups. I'm very knowledgeable about them and would be willing to invest time into assisting with a guide. The Genesis shmup library deserves a guide as comprehensive as the Saturn/PS1/DC/PS2 ones for sure.
Conversely, I'd be pretty interested in seeing a SNES guide, as I have very limited knowledge about the SNES shmup library.

I think that an SNES guide should be done first (I'll be happy to help) because it's thought of as shmup-starved. Also, it might be easier.

I blame Sega-16 for that.GSZX1337 wrote:I think that an SNES guide should be done first (I'll be happy to help) because it's thought of as shmup-starved. Also, it might be easier.

I could possibly handle the SNES side of shmup-things.
