One of the best places to get dirt cheap stands in fantastic condition is also goodwill. They've always got some awesome stuff like that in the furniture section when I go in there so it should be easy for you to find one that fits your liking.

I was just in two different goodwills and was amazed at how overpriced the god awful furniture was. I'm talking stuff I wouldn't subject a coaster to touching. There's a Big Lots right up the street from there and for an extra $100 you can get a brand new couch vs goodwill's bodily fluid buffet.

Goodwill by my place is pretty cheap. I found a 19-21 inch Trinitron for $19.99. Didn't buy it though. Maybe I should go grab it.

I remember when my dream TV was a 27" Mitsubishi. Those things had 800 lines of resolution. It didn't matter that even laserdisc only output 425 lines, I wanted one. This would have been around 1990.

I'm regretting not getting a 25" Trinitron at Goodwill a few months ago. It was flatscreen and had component and S-video, but $60, and between space issues and not needing one I decided to pass and show up early four days later on half off day.... and of course it was gone.

Complete model numbers? If both are SD CRTs then probably the newer one.

I think you mean 24" but yeah, I have this set and it's a nice size for retrogaming.
