in all honesty, I'd say this -- if yr a fan of the Pocky & Rocky games, you'd like this. Imagine if Heavenly Guardian had been as good as you actually wanted it to be.

Yeah, lots of PS1 and PC Engine shoot 'em ups on the Japanese PSN. Not really much for any more than a handful that are actually on the PS3 in any format, aside from a few for download.

Although I'm disappointed on a lack of shmups on ps3, at least there is the 360 where shmup fans can play them.

I am buying the PS3 version because of free online play. :D If there is multiplayer! Haven't even looked.

I'll be picking it up for 360, since I would like all this generation's shmups on one console, but I may consider getting it for ps3 as well. Shmups need more love these days anyways.

same and my hori real arcade pro vx sa is for the 360 and thats the only way to play shmups imo
