I'm glad they're not overdoing it with the zombies. They work better in small doses. Just waiting for the farm to get overrun though.

Who knew the redneck would be the one solid character to emerge from this fray.

Then again standing out as an actor in that ensemble is like being the tallest dwarf.

More Zombies, less crappy story arcs.

Walking Dead is more about the story and the characters than the Zombies themselves. Did you not notice that last season?

there was ALOT more happening in season 1 in 6 episodes that will happen in the 12 or whatever there are this season. The character development is the key to the comic and I'm fine with that being the focal point of the series on television as well, but it's starting to stall out. The setting needs a change.

The Last Horseman wrote::roll: It's a good thing most of you don't read the comic. The show, and the comic, aren't about Zombies. They are about people in bad situations. In some, the best comes out, in others, the worst. I'm still kinda interested how they will handle the Govener situation, if they go that route. That would be some messed up stuff to see on TV.
Oh I'm fully up to date on the comic. I'm also well aware that the name "walking dead" is really referring to the people and not the zombies. All I'm saying is the show is stagnating and could be turning some people off...

The settings fine, but I agree that they could pick up the pace a bit.

I picked up the first anthology of the comics because i love zombie shit. I actually found it really lame with totally unrelatable characters, and so many almost totally traced/photocopied frames. I got half way through and put it down. This could all be because I picked it up after reading a whole heap of 'Preacher' though. I have been meaning to pick it back up though.

Didn't know there was a tv series til I read this thread, I will definately be looking into that.

 I was the exact opposite! I didn't know it was originally a comic book series and now I want to look into reading it! I love the tv show and bought the 1st season on BD! Excellent storyline so far and hoping they keep it up!
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
