I only have time for one of these type of game and chose Battlefield 3.

its looks pretty good, but i already made my purchase of BF3 so i will skipped the release and wait til its cheaper.

As for the trailers the game looks pretty good , but i can see myself hating those dogs for sure...

From what I read on Gamesradar.com, sounds like the campaign is single player only. There is the Spec-Ops mode (co-op challenge missions), and multiplayer.

Lastly, campaign is 7 hours max on Normal difficulty. Guess it's time to kick it up to veteran and take a good 10 hours

Out of curiousity, have you played Dead Island? My wife and I had a blast playing that together. Think Borderlands with zombies

It is on the to buy list. A good friend of mine got it and he said it is desperately needing some patches on the pc and to wait a yearish.

From what I hear, PC version is pretty well patched. Xbox version has a bad habit of corrupting the header of the save file. Your save is there, and intact, but it'll refuse to load

Either way, itll be a Christmas time purchase at the earliest. Picking up games at $5 when they are usually $30-50 is too hard to not plan around.

The game plays the same since CoD1. They haven't advanced gameplay standards one bit since 2003.. CoD has become the Fifa/Madden equivalent and sells by the shitload. Not good for the industry but hey maybe people will wake up someday

There's already CoD 2012 lined up. Maybe Activision will kill it like they killed Guitar Hero.
