Modern Warfare 3?

Post by avrame »

Wow, not sure if I just searched wrong, or if there really isn't a topic on it, but am I the only one on this board that is planning on picking this up today?

I know that there is a lot of hate on the board for the COD series, but I dunno, I am particularly fond of the multiplayer. To anyone that scored a copy on the midnight launch, any impressions of the multiplayer so far? I don't plan to even touch the single player until Xmas time.

Please feel free to add me if you wanna play on XBL, gamer tag: 'avex epix'
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I plan to pick it up, albeit not today. I'll wait for a price drop, since the single-player is short as usual and that's the only part I play. COD is fun, regardless of what many here claim.

I'm not claiming otherwise, since I haven't played Modern Warfare at all, but I literally saw not a single person over the age 15 buying it at the midnight release last night. And this was no GameStop, but a local store half of whose stock is retro.

I plan to get it on Xmas but I'm pretty interested on the game.

I'm just not bro enough for Call of Duty. I can't argue with the online being fun. But my favorite part when I played the first Modern Warfare was just trash talking. :D

I tend to stick to the 'Hardcore' modes, a lot less trash talking and more serious players. Sure you'll find a turd every now and then, but all you gotta do is mute them :P

I have absolutely zero interest in this. I have no desire to hear a bunch of 10-15 year-olds talk like idiots online. Why would I pay money for that? Also, the single player games on this sort of thing often seen to be a sort of second-though throw in thing. There are a ton of FPS war games out there. Why pay full price for one when there are plenty for much cheaper of similar quality/style? No thank you.
