The "correct" answer is 25% since there's four possible answers. However, since 25% is there twice, the correct answer is 50%. But you can't know that AND pick it at random, which is why it's funny.

Nope. Mathematical question. You have four answers, and choosing one randomly, the correct answer is 25%. They just fucked it up so I can't win. Its like playing Pac Man with a broken stick.

The whole thing is a trick question. If you were to randomly pick 1 of 4 then you'd be right 25% of the time. But not only are there 2 answers that are 25%, if you actually pick an answer, then you haven't answered randomly. Even if you take a random sampling for the 25% answer, then half of the answers are 'right' because 25% is on there twice.

You can't actually answer it because in trying to choose the right answer you aren't choosing randomly as the question asks. It is simply a paradox. Actually this would be a good sanity test question for an AI.
