Watched the last 2 episodes of season 1 again tonight, and the premiere. It's no Breaking Bad. Or Sons of Anarchy. Or Dexter. Or. . . .

It's entertaining enough but I'm not too attached to any of the characters. It seems like they all have that horror movie idiot deep down inside of them. The one who screams when they have to be quiet, or can't operate a door knob when being chased.

I'm sure the cast will get slimmed down as the season goes on though. It got cut in half through the six episodes of season 1. But the problem is that there's characters I just want to see die. With Breaking Bad even the loss of the villains is sad.

And YAY! We finally get to see Hershell! One of my favorite characters in the comics.

I just wanted to say that this is the best TV show on air that is showing new episodes. Everytime I see this on my DVR list, I get all excited. I never did follow the comic book, though. I'm a huge comic book fanboy, I just have a bias against black and white comics.

One thing that is pissing me off though, is how few people know that this game from comics. If I see one more person ask "How did you get the idea for such a great series" or hear "A Walking Dead comic book? Pppfff, what a rip off of the show", I'm going to hurt someone.

i liked last season. you can really tell the budgets cuts this year, and besides that the story doesn't progress as fast as i would like. i still like the show and will keep watching but i enjoy american horror story more.

This season is leaps and bounds ahead of the first as far as story goes. It's almost like a different show, I love it now.

It's a good thing most of you don't read the comic. The show, and the comic, aren't about Zombies. They are about people in bad situations. In some, the best comes out, in others, the worst. I'm still kinda interested how they will handle the Govener situation, if they go that route. That would be some messed up stuff to see on TV.
