BurningDoom wrote:I agree with the leveling system in Morrowind being better. But that's where it ends for me. Oblivion's fast-travel system is a godsend. You spent waaayyyyy too much time walking around in Morrowind. The creatures and enemies you fight in Oblivion are lot more interesting than Stilt Strider after Stilt Strider in Morrowind. And the graphics are definitely a step up in Oblivion. Plus the stealth elements in Oblivion are a lot more fun to play than using a stealthy guy in Morrowind.
I think each game has its pros and cons. I preferred the combat system of Oblivion because honestly, the swing and miss when the model clearly shows I hit was silly. Oblivion would make your blows do almost no damage if the monster was too much for you as a balancing act. Stealth was much better in Oblivion (maybe too much better) but I didn't like the fast travel system. Morrowind made you appreciate the world more by having several fixed points you can travel too. With Oblivion it was all about shortest path from a fast travel point, and those really could blanket the map.

I loved it. I've always had the problem though of playing for a while, then quitting for various reasons. When I come back, I can't get into my old character, and I feel the need to make a new one. So I never made it that far in most of it.

I'm just excited for Skyrim. I've seen so many great things. I'm going to get the collector's edition even. It is pricey, but damnit, Bethesda can make a good game. (I still hate Fallout though. Elder Scrolls on the other hand, is the stuff of legend.)
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.
