Help translating Japanese (just a few lines)

Post by Ziggy »

Hey guys. I need some help translating a few lines of Japanese. I know some of yous can read/speak the language, so I thought this should be simple. I have a CIB copy of the Japanese re-release of Super Mario 64 that included rumble pak support. The Cover Project doesn't have this cover, so I wanted to upload it. I also thought it'd be fun if I translated the text on the box into English.

Anyway, here's the entire front cover:

I broke it up into the individual lines so it'll be easier...

If you could tell me what it says by referring to the assigned number, that would be helpful (I don't wanna get confused  ). For #4, please tell me if it's the text inside the box or the purple text under the box. For #5, please tell me if it's the green or purple text (I think the purple might be "1 Player" or similar).

I think #2 is "Super Mario" maybe. I was trying to compare it to the text on the Wiki page. I might as well be examining hieroglyphics though because I have no clue what I'm looking at!

Anyways, thanks for any help with this!

#1: Vibrating/Vibration Pack
Awesome!

#2: Super Mario

#3: Vibrating/Vibration Pack
New Version

#4: Vibrating/Vibration Pack
Back-Up... something?

#5: 1 Player
3D Action

Not sure how I'd translate しびれちゃう (second line in #1) in this sense, someone else can probably be more clear. Not sure about the kanji at the bottom on #4 either.

Shindou Pak: Shibire Chau! (Rumble Pak: Numbing!)
