Quantum Pad
Have two of these. The analog triggers press straight in like a PSX controller. The extra buttons on the face are not the triggers but can be programmed for combo moves. It even has a programmable hold time feature.

the triggers don't matter to me. The C and Z button can be programmed to be used as L and R, correct?

How do YOU feel about the d-pad?

I'm not too keen on the shape of the damn thing. But it is cheap.

Yeah but the Dpad kills every redeeming feature of this controller. I also don't dig the shape, although I must say it's at least better than that horrendous Astro Pad they came up with on the DC lol! Bought that thing at along with powerstone back in the day. Cost me $4. Still felt ripped off!

Yeah, and it feels cheap too. Buttons are small, d-pad is blegh, and the build quality is nowhere on the low end (IMO.)

I never bothered programming the triggers over to the buttons, I don't think you can. The DPad was okay, in honesty for a fighter game an Arcade Stick has a more authentic feel. But the Quantum does have a nice programmable hold and multi button combo capability.

*grumble grumble*

...my post was eaten by the end of the previous page. The Quantum Pad is trash. Stay away.

At that price worth getting one. Its really not bad, get it for the powerful programable features.

Meh, can't fully agree. I got it for $5 back in the Dreamcast era on clearance and still wasn't that impressed with it (other than the shape.)

For $5-10, you may as well get genuine DC controller. Almost every 3rd party pad made for DC is pretty bad. Madcatz has perhaps the most decent alternative. They also have the best lite gun on the system!
