Being ill is a funny thing as there are certain games I will only ever play when ill. Fable is one of my favourite RPG's but I didn't play it all the way though until I got ill.

I'm encouraged to leave work if I feel ill, especially if I'm throwing up in my trash can (that's happened twice in two years). Getting others a virus is very frowned upon in my offices.

Love playing the Zelda series when I'm sick, as it gives me time to think out any puzzles. Like many, I only have maybe an hour a day (while awake) to play games. Some games you just can't play in "hour spurts". But when I'm sick, hand over the Final Fantasies, Zeldas, and SimCities cause I have all day to play and drink fluids.

Hm. Kind of weird how doctors always say "drink plenty of fluids" as if there was a better way to absorb them. If I was a doctor I'd say, "Drink plenty of fluids, and chew and swallow plenty of solids".

I can't remember the last time I was sick actually. Don't think I have been in the past 5 years, at least. KIcking back with a Musou game with a hangover is pretty good though.

I was going to say Puyo Puyo but then after playing it yesterday I realized it's actually really stressful.

I don't know about you but I rig up my own IV. You can even put a little Everclear in there for a real party.

It depends on how "sick" I am. If I have a fever or some kind of head cold then I'm nowhere near any of my consoles. I'm sleeping w/ the tv on most likely. If it's something tolerable and I can focus on a game then I'm probably playing something from Atari to NES era. No specific genre of games but whatever I'm in the mood for from those types of systems.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

The last time I was sick I was recouping from a reaction to black mold in a house I was working on. the initial sickness was too much for me to play a game (103.2 fever) but when I was recouping I found twinstick shooters and metal slug helped quite a bit.

And choplifter.

There is a medical supply store and liquor store located in a nearby strip mall.... thanks for the idea!
