Favorite Games to Play when Sick

Post by ElmerGlu »

Whenever I get sick I like to sit down with a nice rpg. Usually one I know the ends and outs of like the back of my hand, as my illness won't be a problem when playing. Or maybe a older Zelda title.
My personal favorites are Majora's Mask, and Fallout New Vegas. I can beat both in about 3 days, which is about when I start feeling better.

I would just like to hear a couple of favorites you play when sick or maybe a couple of anecdotes of games you played when getting over a cold.
People who think they know every thing are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

Last time I got the flu I played through Little Big Planet on PSP. It was nice and relaxing and the charm of the game made me feel somewhat better.

Nice happy games. Things like Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Peggle, Zuma or anything simple that doesn't require lots of thinking or reading. Little Big Planet is a good one as Croooow stated.

I haven't been genuinely sick in a while now, but when I had my wisdom teeth removed I played Castlevania 3 like 100 times in a row. I'm not sure why I was enjoying it so much that week, but apparently it was really working for me.

Any of the Katamari games are nice to play when you're sick. Something about its trippiness really speaks to me when I'm all light-headed.

RPGs are great because you can go at your own pace and relax

In the past I've done RPGs. Recently I've just watched movies instead as it requires less brain power and effort and I can just lie there like a lump.
