Grand Theft Auto V Announced!

I heard it will be set in several different cities we've played in before including a modern day Vice City. If it's not going to be a new setting, there's no better place than Vice.

if this is truly the sandbox game they are going for at least let us go into buildings. GTIV was way too restricted in terms of freedom to roam inside buildings.

oh man just cause 2 is such an underrated game, that game blew me away with its beauty. what i hated about gta 4 is that it is all city, dreary and all the same. bring back the gta san andreas idea of having a huge world with varied enviroments.

Hmm, the GTA3 engine had two more games before GTA4 came out. Right? I don't recall any GTA4-engine games coming out. I think there was just expansion pack(s) and maybe DLC, right? I guess the internet-ready consoles don't need additional games when we have DLC and expansion packs. Straight onto GTA5!

Red Dead Redemption runs on the GTA4 engine and is basically Grand Theft Horse.

Except that RDR didn't bore me from the onset If GTA V isn't significantly different to GTA IV I'll be more than happy to skip it.

Alright, (just watched the trailer) ... this is going to own. Holy crap. If it's more in the vein of the PS2 games, Saints Row has some serious competition. How the tables have turned... haha.

Buying properties is apparently back as well.

Where did you hear the main character is Tommy though?

And man I really hope they're basically remaking the entire San Andreas location. That is exactly what I've been wanting, haha holy crap.
