I really enjoy the genre but I can't remember the last time I played a horror game. Oddly enough, I was a lot more interested in horror films and books when I was in elementary/middle school. You'd think it would be the opposite.

Anyways, the first action I took upon reading this topic was to see if any one has made a solid, 2D horror game in the last 15 years or so. Has any one ever heard of Yuuyami Doori Tankentai?

It was never translated and apparently it's somewhat rare, so I can't ever see myself playing it. It looks pretty awesome, at least graphically/atmosphere wise.

Halloween was mostly ignored by me this uyear, no castlevania marathon or anything like that, instead I just played Deathsmiles as it was a passable choice.
