Seems I misread the title.

Ah yes, the living nightmare that is Go 2 it.Damm64 wrote:Cheap doom game? IDKFA + IDDQD = epic win.KillerJuan77 wrote:That's why I'm never beating Final Doom, it's too cheap.Xeogred wrote:Chaingunners are probably who I hate the most, Arch-vile's aside, heh.
I just hate when some mappers get too excited with the chaingunners, set them up in super tall unreachable towers or something. Plutonia has so many chaingunners it's nuts.
EDIT: Best level ever![]()

My friend legitimately beat that level.
Once.

I've never beaten that crap, but I think finishing this level on Hurt Me Plenty was an accomplishment for myself:
This is on UV obviously, but yeah... HMP was freaking nuts as well.
I beat Hell Revealed 1-2 as well, but I'm pretty sure I played those on the easier difficulties, haha. Every other megawad I play on HMP though, I've managed to beat the Final Doom's (TNT is easier than Plutonia for sure), Memento Mori 1-2, Community Chest Pack 1-3, and Alien Vendetta which is really awesome. AV seems to be a fan favorite, at first I didn't like it so much but the later maps are really freaking awesome, the last few were pretty easy though but awesome in design.

Hmm... This encourages me to beat Castlevania II GB and Resident Evil Gaiden.

Re: dsheinem's MONTH OF HORROR 2011! What games are you playing?
Okay, so I didn't make a list really, but I am playing through Costume Quest with the kid right now. It's a really fun and simple RPG from Double Fine. He loves the game but can't quite grasp the battle system, so I'm playing through it and reading the subtitles to him. We are having a blast with it! If I end up really loving it we will be getting the Grubbins on Ice DLC ASAP.
Re: dsheinem's MONTH OF HORROR 2011! What games are you playing?
So I beat Costume Quest and I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, charming, and fun RPG. It's especially fun if you have younger kids who like to watch you play, as its definitely aimed at that audience. At this point, Double Fine can do no wrong in my book.
I also fired up Zombie Apocalypse on XBLA today and hopped on the multiplayer to see if anyone still played. Sure enough, I got into a match right away and ended up playing through the 7 Days of Hell mode. It took us a long time, but we ended up getting through it after killing THOUSANDS of zombies. No joke. It was crazy, but we had fun. Zombie Apocalypse is a lot like Smash TV, but with zombies. If you like Smash TV, and you like zombies, give it a shot. The sequel is scheduled to come out this month IIRC.
Anyone else still playing Halloween themed games? I'm really getting into the spirit this year, my son is the perfect age for this holiday!

I'm at work still, but I can't wait to get home to play some more Half Life 2. Sorry CV64, you're just not comparing to this.
