I'm going to trade Gargoyle's Quest for Doom. I hate to admit it, but I've never played all the way through the original Doom, so now's as good a time as any.

I really want to get into Siren: Blood Curse, but found out the one on PSN is the censored version. Looks like I'll have to hit up eBay for a retail copy (which is what I much prefer). I had the original PS2 version, but my ex-roomate's friends snagged my PS2 games while I was away on deployment (when I still served). Assholes.

literally, or are you saying it's a bad game? I've tried the demo and fell in love with it. There isn't a horror game like it where stealh plays a significant role.

I got it for 35 dollars 3 years ago (Thank you eBay), it became one of my favorite horror games of all time. It's amazing and it's much better than the original (However, if you are patient and can't get frustrated then get it, it's still a great game but it's fucking hard).

There's a nice article about Sweet Home on Destructoid now:

http://www.destructoid.com/it-came-from ... 3628.phtml

If you haven't heard about it before, it's a very early horror game that only appeared in Japan on the Famicom and is the stated inspiration for Resident Evil.

There is, however, a fan translation now.

I played it once, it's really good but I can see why Capcom didn't release it on America or Europe, it's pretty graphic, creepy and grim for an NES game. I hope I can get a reproduction cart someday.

By the way, here's the movie it's based on (It's even directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, the guy that made Kairo and Cure):

playing the translation today (thanks JT)... it's so awesome. It really is like an 8bit RPG version of RE. Loving it.
