yeah, I feel like we finally tackled the Sports genre with a pretty good sense of agreement. Now if we could just sort out the RPG debacle.
Do we have to do RPG? Let's drop it and put Pinball in instead.
Awesome idea!

I don't like that idea. I like when TR does some longer games like an RPG so that some of us are given motivation to focus on something longer and actually complete it.
Then break the month into two week periods and we'll have two pinball games. The enthusiasm for pinball seems to outstrip the enthusiasm for an RPG.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

majority rules obviously, but I'd still really like to have a nice longer game in there. Be it RPG or point-n-click or something.

Quick question: what's the cutoff point for Together Retro games? 5th gen? 6th gen?

From what have been said the past couple of pages; although I'd be fine with playing THPS 2, I really wanted to play Ep1 Racer. I'd be fine as well to drop RPG and replace it with a pinball game. Something from the Crush series?

Whether it's Baldur's Gate or a Dragon Warrior/Quest game, I'm definitely in favor of keeping the RPG instead of a pinball game. Maybe we can drop the sports game for the pinball one.

This is probably a stupid idea, but we could play crush pinball AND maniac mansion in October. I hear Maniac Mansion is really really short anyhow

I find this to be a great compromise.

I'm ok with it too. I don't often like doing two-game months, unless they sort of go together like the Gunstar/Guardian idea. BUT when it comes to October, I tend to feel like a double-billing fits the horror vibe. So yeah. Let's do that.

AND then let's figure out what we're doing about an RPG.
