Dave: So Tony...why do you allow your name and likeness to be used on so many inferior games these days? And what the hell was up with that hover board controller?dsheinem wrote:THPS2 is cool by me. Maybe I can interview Tony
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Fully endorse THPS - I played the heck out of the first two games on the dreamcast, and I don't care for skateboarding in the least. Just a great game overall.

in all seriousness, THPS2 was the game that made me a gamer again after 5 years of not touching a controller.retrosportsgamer wrote:Fully endorse THPS - I played the heck out of the first two games on the dreamcast, and I don't care for skateboarding in the least. Just a great game overall.

I am also happy with Tony Hawk 2, even though I kinda wanted to play a racer.

From what I can find on top of that:Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X was released on November 14, 2001 (only in the U.S. and Canada) as a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox. The game contained remade versions of all the levels from the first two games in the Tony Hawk series, five new levels, a 4-player split screen and LAN multi-player feature and the ability to create females in Create-a-skater mode. Other new features include a redesigned main page and grind balance meter.
No fog
The sun
Motion blur
Wind effects on clothing
Slightly larger levels and redesigned elements
Custom music from your hard drive
Blades of grass
It's also 360 compatible

yeah, I feel like we finally tackled the Sports genre with a pretty good sense of agreement. Now if we could just sort out the RPG debacle.TEKTORO wrote:Im glad I mentioned it (THPS),If we go ahead with it Im gonna play the Ps1,Gba and xbox versions.Im pretty pumped about the idea!

Do we have to do RPG? Let's drop it and put Pinball in instead.noiseredux wrote:yeah, I feel like we finally tackled the Sports genre with a pretty good sense of agreement. I don't like that idea. I like when TR does some longer games like an RPG so that some of us are given motivation to focus on something longer and actually complete it.Flake wrote:
