Re: Sony brings PS2 downloads to PSN
I'd MUCH rather spend $10 on a really good PS2 shmup rather than $6 on the mediocre PS1 selection we currently have.

Re: Sony brings PS2 downloads to PSN
the ONLY PS1 games I've bought on PSN have been imports. And I like that cuz for $6 I get a game I can play on PS3 or PSP. It's pretty sweet. Monkey Paw rules.Opa Opa wrote:I'd MUCH rather spend $10 on a really good PS2 shmup rather than $6 on the mediocre PS1 selection we currently have.

If their catalog gets better, I'll consider getting rid of my PS2. It's much easier and cheaper for me to buy digital copies of games.

The music is really good but gameplay is kinda generic.
It's worth six bucks.

I've got GaiaSeed and agree that it's a pretty generic shmup. Still worth a sixer to me though.

That said I hear it's really easy to make Japanese accounts thesedays and have access to their 20x bigger selection.
Same deal with the Wii VC to me ... "Here's games you probably already own!"

It's very easy to make a Japanese PSN account. If you can't navigate it yourself, I'm certain there's a few guides around the web, but it's pretty similar to the US network. Some people have told me they needed to use a real Japanese address, but I just made one up. I think I said I lived at 55555 Japan, Japan, Japan or something similar and it accepted that. Anyways, it's got a pretty great selection of games.Xeogred wrote:Ugh, don't remind me lol.Opa Opa wrote:I'd MUCH rather spend $10 on a really good PS2 shmup rather than $6 on the mediocre PS1 selection we currently have.
