I'm glad the rpg talk moved away from the Dragon Warrior games. I didn't want to sit out on an rpg month, and it was starting to look that way.

Might I suggest the Elder Scrolls? Daggerfall can be had for free.

If we go that way, it might make for interesting discussion, since everybody is guaranteed to have a different experience.

Just a thought though, as I'd be perfectly happy with any of the wrpgs that have been mentioned so far.

well I guess if we do a WRPG it will mean TR is accomplishing its goal of getting gamers to try games they wouldn't on their own.

I would actually really, REALLY love to see an Elder Scrolls game... But not Daggerfall.
Don't get me wrong- It's a good game! But I really don't think it aged all that well.

How about Morrowind? It's a lot more approachable than the older titles and it has a home console release for people who don't game on the PC.

I'll echo this. Let's play Morrowind! However, it is a long game. So perhaps we have it as a second game to play for a few months (Jan through March as it is an adventure game and an RPG) on top of the usual monthly choices.

If you don't have an Xbox, the PC version runs on a netbook and is easily obtainable as well.
Older. Not wiser.
