Ultima series is British-American. Not JRPG, Dave. Good?

Yeah, though I have more interest in Baldur's Gate or Fallout...

well that's up to the masses, not me. But both of those are computer-only, so I suspect I wouldn't be the only one to sit that month out.

The Baldur's Gate series has games on consoles, so you could play one of those. Same with Fallout.

If we are going to go PC-only, I'd suggest Planescape Torment or Icewind Dale as I've always wanted to play those. I suggested Baldur's/Fallout because of games in each series that were ported...

Also, start playing PC games noise.

oh I forgot my Shmup nomination: Gunbird 2. It's vertical, which I prefer. I loved the first. The 2nd has Morrigan. Yay.

I don't understand how Fallout is an RPG. It looks like a FPS to me:

I admit, I know dick about the series. I'm genuinely asking "WTF?".

Fallout 3 is a RPG from first person perspective, with FPS-like action for combat. The other Fallout games are not this way.

There's also the Might & Magic series to consider.
