Ninja Gaiden was a long time coming, having started it 3 years back now. The Ninja Gaiden discussion we had on the forum encouraged me to gived it another go though, and after one long dedicated night, I finally managed to break through it. My verdict: It's still cheap. However, it's also quite fun. I still don't think I'll bother playing the sequels right now though...

My internet has been down all weekend, so I played a lot of stuff to stave off the boredom. I wasn't sure about adding Ocarina of Time to this list because I've beaten it before, and I only use this list to list games I've never previously beaten, but I decided to add it because I've never previously beaten THIS version before. I got pretty much everything, I'm only missing 37 skulltulas. However, I have all weapons, fairy upgrades, item stock upgrades, heart containers etc. I unlocked Master Quest too, although I won't be playing that too soon as I only beat it on Gamecube last December. A great version of the game. It's very pretty too

Sam and Max Season 2 was what I started after I beat Zelda. It's still a great game, although I'm concerned about the number of in-jokes from Season 1. It doesn't seem very welcoming to new players. On the other hand, Ice Station Santa was an enjoyable chapter, and the more chaotic nature of the story is more fitting with Sam and Max's comic book stories, so It's all good. The puzzles here were never too complicated, but still managed to stump me for a little bit a few times. Well balanced chapter, if not among my favourites.

Next up: More Sam and Max, Monster Hunter Tri (I played a lot of this this weekend too!), maybe something else.

This one was absolutely hilarious, and the gameplay wasn't terrible or anything, but it just got so repetitive. Worth playing for sure, but only in short doses IMO.

Question: So last night I played this homebrew DC game called Whispered Secrets. It's basically a Choose Your Own Adventure game. Anyway, there's many different endings. On my first try, I got a pretty swift "You're Dead" ending. So obviously that's bad. However, my second try lasted about 10 mins, and ended with The Killer being killed by police and me living with "the whispered secret" he had clued me in on right before the cops saved me. I'm not really sure if this is the ULTIMATE ending, and the game only lasted me like 10 mins, but it's an ending where I survived. So........ would you all count that as a game beaten, or not (if it was you)?

^ Did the credits roll? Cause if they did and you didn't die than I'd say beaten. But if you're iffy about it and if that last play-through only lasted about 10 min, I'd say give it a couple more plays to see what else you can get. That's what I would do anyway.

there were no credits. Just an ending story instead of a YOU'RE DEAD.
