Hmm...ok, I guess I'll have to look it up. MMX7 has been sitting in my collection for some time, and while I had played it a bit, the loss of certain super items had kept me from returning to it. I suppose I'll look up if it's possible to get them back.

I have to admit, metroid-vanias are one of my favorite flavors of games. I love love love collecting all the weapons, armor and souls, etc, and spending time exploring to get 100% map completion. I can't get enough. Funny enough though of the Castlevania metroid-vanias, I have only taken the time to beat Symphony of the Night, Dawn of Sorrow and now Aria of Sorrow.
Aria is a fantastic game, I'd have to rate it third out of the series (of the metroid-Castlevanias) in this order: DoS, SotN and AoS. I found the game a bit too easy, and I didn't even spend much time if any grinding before each boss battle. I think I only ever died once on one of the bosses, but probably because I was being careless. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I died at all in the game. But that's okay, because all of the great soul abilities and weapons are there to keep me playing til the end. I beat the game with 100% map completion with the best ending on normal. I'm still playing to try and collect all of the souls, but I may get bored before I make it to that goal.

Jesus, I do not want to play Persona 4 anytime soon. It took me about 60 hours to beat, on normal difficulty.
