Yeah, that video's pretty messed up. But it's just too polished, I think. "Sweet Dreams" has this unpolished, distorted thing going on that nearly makes you forget that, at the end of the day, the video is just another commercial product.

Holy crap, this is the first time I've ever heard of this video. I thought the spinning pig's head in "Closer" was pretty disturbing, but this is on a level of its own. If I didn't know it was a NIN video, it would have been a pretty convincing snuff film.

To be honest I can't understand why he made it, it's just... unecessary plus most NIN are already disturbing as hell so why would you need to add a fake snuff film to those videos?

Yeah, the Broken videos still make my stomach turn, especially the one for "Gave Up". NIN was my favorite band at the time and I was really weirded out when I saw that and not sure what it meant that I liked a band that would make videos like that.

A few years ago Trent Reznor leaked it on a few torrent sites and I downloaded it. It was gruesome but still watchable in a sick way. Wish I still had it.

I'm not a big fan of horror so the stairs scene in The Exorcist really freaked me out
Thanks everyone...

"Cannibal Ferox", which I rented at Blockbuster(!) under the name "Make Them Die Slowly" in the mid 90's has some gruesome images. First time I had seen a penis in a movie that was not a porno, and it gets chopped off and eaten.
I watched Cannibal Ferox a long time ago and I don't remember it being very good or gruesome. Maybe it was a lame censored version. Also it came out in 1981, not the mid 90s.

Also that City of the Living Dead scene is disgusting, the only time I felt sick after watching a movie scene. A lot of Fulci films have great scenes, my favorite being the zombie vs. the shark in Zombi 2.

I meant that I rented it it in the mid 90's. And to add another in the disturbing category, the fate of Duane Jones character at the end of the original "Night of the Living Dead", while not gory or outrageously going for over the top shock value, truly disturbed me. Saw it as a teenager, and any pie in the sky idealism I had about getting what you deserve in life ended right there.

I just saw it, it's not good  , it's actually pretty hilarious and it's so sleazy it's unbelievable. As for the gore... I didn't find it as intense as Cannibal Holocaust but the hook scene made me shiver.

Also, I love that Giovanni Lombardo Radice just kept calling everyone twats throughout the whole thing  .
