yes, you don't need to open it. maybe 1 or 2 games, you only get 4.5 of game storage.

web sites use HTTP, file servers (not so much any more) use FTP; you're setting up LAN using FTP as the protocol (HTTP and TCP/IP are also protocols, if you didnt know)
(hook the modded x-box and your pc to a router, and send files to said x-box)
