Best part of gaming Knowing theres a way to beat it just figuring out how :D
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

this thread inspired me to start fucking with the BOR Splatterhouse trilogy on DC. I'm playing the first game. It's pretty fun. Feels a lot like the second real Splatterhouse. I can tell you these are not remakes at all. They're just new games based on the series. But they're well done. Graphically, it's impressive and you can choose to use one of four different character designs for Rick from the original games. Good stuff. Oh and I think this is the first time I've picked up a video game controller in several weeks.

I know, but it's still an insanely difficuty SRPG, but hey, at least it's better than something like Record Of Agarest War or Cross Edge.

I had to stop. I'm too tired. Got up to Stage 8 with 4 lives remaining (out of all 3 continues) but turns out there's 10 stages. This is a long game for homebrew haha.

Since I just found it in an old cd book of mine, Clive Barker's Undying. Its shooting mechanic is like a precursor to Bioshock. Shoot a weapon with one hand and fire off a spell with the other. I remember it being really fun and creepy back in 2000.

I got that 2-3 months ago for 2 bucks with shipping, it was a fantastic purchase. Plus, I love Clive Barker, I even liked Jericho.

I just finished reading The Great and Secret Show so I'm on a Clive Barker kick. I never played Jericho but it did look pretty cool, I take it it's not so good?

It's very flawed, some of the voice acting is dull, the squad based gameplay is heavily flawed due to some horrendous partner AI and the ending is one of the worst endings in gaming history (And consider this, I've seen this: beating one of the most stupidly hard games ever made rewards you with engrish). However, the art style is fantastic, the story is also pretty cool (Even with the ending) and the fact that you can use 6 different characters each with different abilities is kind of awesome.

If you can get it cheap then go for it, I got the Xbox 360 special edition that comes with a making-of DVD and an art book on a beatiful steelbox for 9 bucks so it's far from expensive.

Metro 2033 - I will fricken' finish it!
STALKER
RAGE
Demon Souls
Doom 3.. maybe the first two also
Silent Hill 5 - I got up to one stupid part and cannot pass it for the life of me. Time to restart it fresh.
Diablo 2 + Expansion

And this one goes out to noise - I'll play some Darkstalkers too!

Why not? It's pretty awesome and it's much better than the originals.
doesn't it take like 10 hours to beat?

but the mini cutscenes in splatterhouse 3 are kind of creepy for being 16 bit. anyone else agree?
if you took a shit, please put it back
