Why not? It's pretty awesome and it's much better than the originals.
I wouldn't go that far. But it's a fantastic 3D brawler. I love it. I think the 3rd is my favorite of the original trilogy. Though Wanpaku Graffiti is probably my favorite Splatterhouse game of all time. I'm looking forward to delving into the Dreamcast BOR trilogy too.

man I knew there were a few I forgot

@KillerJuan77-Good call on Cursed Mountain more ppl should try that out.

@Stark-Ill join ya on Call of Cthulu (or whatever).

Also I seen Ghosthunter make the list and Sherlock Holmes vs.Jack the ripper (360) may be under the radar.

Ghosthunter is pretty awesome, also, Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) voices the villain!

By the way, I just started playing Cursed Mountain, it's really good so far.

oh, apparently this is already quite publicly admitted (says wiki) --

Part way through development, one of the developers asked the others, "Hey, wouldn't that be kind of cool if it turned out that this person inside the suit was a woman?", an idea which was incorporated into the game.[14] Ridley Scott's 1979 horror film Alien was described by Sakamoto as a "huge influence" on Metroid after the game's world had been created. The development staff was affected by the work of the film's creature designer H. R. Giger, and found his creations to be fitting for the Metroid universe.[15]
That's really cool to hear and wow, now that I think about it I'm not surprised at all that HR Giger's influence is definitely in Metroid to an extent as well, with the Chozo designs, the weird monster doors or elevators that are merged into the walls (wish I could find a picture but you probably know what I mean), and all the art/textures.

Yeah they don't try and hide it. Hell, the main recurring boss of the series - Ridley - is named after Ridley Scott.

Okay so Im gonna leave the call of cthulhu to Stark but I will be cool enough to play Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper (why not I liked Man vs Wild).

And also while browsing I noticed Operation Darkness said something about Nazi's,Zombies and Vampires on the back cover. Its a Strategy game and Im not sure if its has Horror type elements but I grabbed It anyways.
