in worst case it is possible to use the mod chip without soldering but i don't really recommend it since the wires tend to get loose by the slightest nudge but it is possible
Care to elaborate on that? How can you install the chip without soldering?
Any suggestions on what to get and where to get them?
My guess is that you can just electrical tape the chip's wires to the contact points (since in the Saturn the solder points are very big). But if you bump the system, it may disconnect that connection you established.
Atari 2600 (AV mod), NES, SNES (region switch for PAL), Virtual Boy, Gamecube, Wii (D2CKey), PSX (Stealth V), PS2 (independence exploit w/ 160 GB HDD), Goldstar 3DO, Philips CD-i, Dreamcast, Saturn (racketboy's chip), Sega Genesis 2 + CD2 + 32X + Power Base Converter, Game Gear.

If thats true, it would really help a lot of people who cannot solder. From what I understand the wire that goes into the power supply doesn't need to be soldered to begin with, judge wedged in there?
I also read that the A+B method doesn't work on Japanese Saturns. Anyone know if this is true or just a rumor? Electrical tape on the A+B I think would be easier then the onto the board pin.
