Could be a connection speed thing or the amount of bandwidth that's being used by the program you're using. I'm not sure if the delay is something that can be eliminated permanently but it can probably be reduced. I used to host a video game music station via Shoutcast with Winamp and even with my up speeds at 4mbps (beats my old 40kbps), there was somewhat of a minor delay.

There will be another special Pokemon stream starting soon. Possibly tonight. Three of us will race in splitscreen (once we figure out how to do that) through Pokemon Blue each with a different starter. Battle animations off and the emulator speed tweaked a bit.
