I meant I've played 1-3, Wanpaku and the remake. I just haven't played the homebrew DC BOR game yet. Maybe I will right now though...Rurouni_Fencer wrote:What are you waiting for, Noise???noiseredux wrote: I'm a huge fan of Splatterhouse though. I've played all the others.

Re: You all win. (I'm finally getting a Dreamcast)
yeah Splatterhouse 2010 is amazing. Just the opening cut-scenes blew me away. It was one of my first PS3 games actually. I figured next month I'd pull it out, along with the DC homebrew game since we're playing Splatterhouse for TR.
BTW... the DC Agetec stick is probably my favorite arcade stick I've ever used. It's sturdy but light, big but not huge, the buttons feel nice and the stick "clicks". So awesome.

Still waiting to see noise discover REZ and KPROJECT, both Arcade stick supported.mjmjr25 wrote:Glad your on board. I thought it was only on the Neo Geo and Saturn?mjmjr25 wrote:Yeah man - TSS is legit. Great versus game, has the fighting/puzzle/shmup elements all wrapped into one.
I'd rather recommend the HKEMS "Total Control" Adapter for the Dreamcast (or the Innovation one, but it doesn't support Twin-Sticks); I haven't found much lag, and the d-pad is a lot sturdier. (I've seen a lot of snapped Fighter Pad d-pads.)Anthony817 wrote:Also, if you plan on playing a lot of emulators, and fighting/arcade games, I would recommend (the Ascii Fighter pad) -- its just like the Saturn controller, but made for Dreamcast!
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Ok, stupid question time. What is the DC homebrew game and by TR are you referring to the Turbo Graphix 16 version of Splatterhouse or the Japanese Arcade version? I just want to make sure that there isn't a version of this series out there that I ahven't played yet!
Sorry for changing this thread into a Splatterhouse topic btw!

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Rez is really difficult to play on a digital arcade stick. Extremely difficult to aim without analog. Just my opinion, of course.CRTGAMER wrote:Still waiting to see noise discover REZ and KPROJECT, both Arcade stick supported.mjmjr25 wrote:Glad your on board. Harder but thats the fun of the immersion, I always enjoy playing games in a new way. I play REZ with a mouse on the PS2 for tight control and also at times with the Blaze Dual Shock Arcade Sticks on either the PS2 or Dreamcast. The second stick no kidding, acts as the fire buttons down and left. The game is harder with the two sticks, but I can really get wrapped up in it. Almost a Robotron feel wrapping both hands around the red ball sticks. The only trade of is the vibration is lost in the Arcade stick, the DC controller really shakes to the beat.ZenErik wrote:Rez is really difficult to play on a digital arcade stick.
