the car washes were free for you... so that's atleast 50 bones for free!
That and I use my HD-DVD for the 360 player as my movie player, it's a really good picture quality I must say. Awesome sound from the 360. And it doesn't wear out your main DVD-Rom. Really it sounds like a sound choice to me. I know HD-DVD has really fallen out of the race, but hey that also means you'll be able to pick up the discs that are out there for pretty cheap soon! Just because it didn't win, doesn't mean its video quality sucks. Just means Sony produces more movies.

Yeah, what he said. I watch a lot of Blu-rays on my PS3 but HD-DVDs are pretty great and you can find some deals. And having a second drive for HD-DVDs and DVD upscaling is pretty nice. You can use it on a PC as well. Not to mention racketboy readers in 2020 will be amazed that you have one of these relics!lordofduct wrote:the car washes were free for you... so that's atleast 50 bones for free!

I'd say get one. Makes a nice collectors item if anything. I've been considering getting one myself even though I don't own an Xbox 360. As was mentioned it can also be used with a PC. For some odd reason now when I look alot of HD-DVD player seem to have gone up to insane prices. What are people doing with them?
