Honestly, I got into SNK fighters because of Samurai Showdown 5 special. I was playing it online with my friend who is WAY better at it then me, but still, it was hella fun to play.

Since you have a DC, I'd say CvS2. Even though it totally done by Capcom it does include your SNK fav's. If you can EMU NeoGeo, try out Ninja Masters and any of the Real Bout's (already suggested). MotW is tops, real power house for a ten year old system at the time it came out.

Obviously from the varied responses, a lot of SNK fighters are really good. Since I didn't see it mentioned and I enjoyed it, take some time to look up World Heroes and World Heroes 2. SNK only helped publish the games, but I feel they're enjoyable titles.

I switched the soundtrack and it is much less noisy, although still constantly loading.

Do you think it really causes that much wear to play this game? I would hate to miss out on this classic, but I don't want to have to replace my DC any time soon either.

Does anyone know where I could obtain the version that doesnt load on the fly for download? Greatly appreciated!

Yeah I have. Beyond seeing a handful of Street Fighter characters rendered by SNK I didn't think much of this game. Hit box detection is especially bad.

Is that the one on XBOX? If so, I bought that one back in the day and thought it was pretty much trash. Unexcusable sprite quality and shitty controls, but that could just be the effect of playing a capcom fighter on an xbox pad - sucks!

I know there is currently another thread about this, but it applies here:

Can anyone confirm exactly which DC version of MOTW is best (ie. no sound glitch). There is the original JP release, a later Playmore re-release, and the US release. Thanks!
