The game that I have irrational hatred for is Tony Hawk and all its iterations. They're run of the mill skateboarding games, yet for some reason that I can't fathom, they routinely get mentioned in the same breath as best games for PS1 and Dreamcast. Honestly, whose dick did Tony Hawk suck??

At the risk of getting flamed, I'll also say I don't care for Sonic the Hedgehog, classic or modern. I'm no Nintendo fanboy, but the game mechanics just seem a bit boring - you run really fast, and you can do the spin dash. Also, that ridiculous smirk that Sonic has plastered on his face all the fucking time to make him look "xtreme" or whatever.

That game flat out sucks. I don't think that counts as irrational hatred.

I wouldn't say I hate it, but I have an irrational dislike for anything in the first person. Everything becomes less fun if you can't see the characters. I know that doesn't make any sense at all because the gameplay is still the same, but for some reason the first person viewpoint just really irks me to the point where I can't enjoy a game.

I hear you. I have some nostalgia for Sonic 2, but the games do absolutely nothing for me.

As for the topic, the only games I really hate are franchises that I think are having an overall negative impact on the industry, and MMOs in general, but I don't think that's very irrational.

Borderlands, sat with my friend for 20 hours playing it, then my power went off and I was level 4. However I did beat it, but that was a year after the event.

Any WWII Call of Duty. I bought the first two for the PS2 and liked them and then after I beat them I just never had the interest to pick them up again - they just seem so generic and dated sitting on my shelf. Slowly, my indifference toward them turned to hatred.

Touhou. All of em. Fuckin hate em.

Hate it even more when people try to compare them to Cave/Psikyo games.

This is supposed to be a shootin game, not a pedophilia dreamland. The bullets must be high on some of the finest weed, since their movin slower than a buncha drunk snails.

Your Favorite Game

It fucking sucks. I don't understand how ANYONE can like this stuff and still consider themselves a sentient being.

You uh... haven't played conker, have you?
Doesn't sound like it. It is quite different. Banjo-Kazooie was much more of a Mario clone than Conker.

Sadly, you played the worst versions of the two worst COD games in the series. Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 on PC are very good.

I hate you for hating it, and you suck.

The 360 versions are pretty good too.
