Are you sure about that? I mean, you probably have a $500 deductible on your HO insurance.

Damn. I hate to shoot the messenger, but a "blickty mother fucking blam blam" towards biker.

Turns out my door was well worth over my deductible. I was hoping to file it under miscellaneous items, but that seems to be folly at this point. Had I known I owned a door that was worth near a thousand dollars, I would have sold that shit; especially since it didn't do its job during a storm. My regular doors did fine, but my storm door breaks during a storm? That's some ironic stuff.

I think it's safe to say I'll be out at least $1000 when it's all said and done, but if so I'll have one kick ass storm door.

How are we supposed to gawk at this spectacle without pictures? :P

Glad people see to have relatively minor damage so far though.

I was planning on taking some pics, but nothing really worthwhile to tell you the truth. There's a great amount of leaves and branches all over everywhere, but it's nothing special to look at. At least, not in my opinion.

Yeah.. holy crap. NY had it easy. They got it worse than down south.

... which reminds me. I have a buddy in VT who lives about 500 feet from a river. It's way up in the mountains but I hope he is okay.

I'm okay here in PA, but I'm worried about my parents. They have no power. Which isn't usually worrisome, but my father requires an oxygen machine and I don't know how many tanks he has left. Knowing how the rain is, it's going to be very muggy which is murder for his lungs.

I just want him to be okay.
