Rounding out my PS2 collection...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

DQVIII was a masterpiece in my opinion, simple but engaging and entertaining at the same time. I don't think I've had nearly as great of an experience with an RPG on the PS2 as I did with that game. To each his own though.

I didn't think Rogue Galaxy was necessarily bad during the time I played it, the game just didn't hook me like some other RPGs. It felt like sort of a slow burn, and maybe I just needed a break before starting again. I put it on the back burner for a while and sold my copy to a friend. I figured I'd just get again if I felt the urge to play it.

As far as GTA goes, I owned both GTA III and Vice City at one point. I traded them in though because I never actually "played" them, I would only run around and cause mayhem for about 15 minutes and then quit.

These are some of the games I owned at one point and traded in:

GTA III
GTA: Vice City
Disgaea
Rygar
Indigo Prophecy
Psychonauts
MGS3
Xenosaga
Rogue Galaxy
Wild Arms 3

There's probably a few more I've forgotten. I feel like I've covered a huge spectrum with this system, so it's getting harder to single out games to buy for it. Some of these suggestions are good though, and I think I'll be able to squeeze some more life out of the system.

Did you beat any of those or did you decide you didn't like them and sold 'em?

Alien Hominid

Arcana Heart

Guilty Gear Accent Core

Persona 3

These are a few of my suggestions. Hopefully you can find something that you like.

I beat Xenosaga and MGS3, but I didn't think I'd ever play them again so I sold them afterwards. The other games I stopped playing before I finished them. Wild Arms 3 I never even opened. I got it for $4 sealed and a friend of mine wanted it so I just gave it to him. I'm really bad about picking up games just because they are cheap. :P

HA HA. Just picked up Alien Hominid at Circuit City for 9 dollars. It was their last copy. I hope it was a good deal.

Ok I started thinking about some PS2 games I saw over the years, but didn't pay any mind to. If anyone has opinions/advice on these, let me know.

Ring of Red
Evergrace
Eternal Ring
Legend of Kay
Shaolin Monks
Godzilla: Save the Earth
King's Field IV
Drakengard
Samurai Legend Musashi

Samurai Legend Musashi is a great game the art style is something to see. The combat system is pretty cool you can steal your enemies moves which lets you progress. I love cell shaded games their timeless so my opinion is a little bias.

Brave Fencer Musashi was one of my favorites on the PS1, but I never got around to playing the PS2 Musashi game. I think I might pick it up, or at least put it in my Goozex queue.
