They're so lame, yet they're so popular.

Hill Country.

Guess what kind of bike is of absolutely no value in a place called 'Hill Country'? But good luck getting a straight answer out of a hipster about why they ride fixed gear. If one of the idiots would come out and say 'oh me and mine adopted NYC bike courier conventions because we wanted to distinguish ourselves from other cyclists and therefor get attention that way' I'd buy him/her a beer. As it is I just shake my head and smile as I whiz by these fixie riders. Or walkers as it usually is. In a place called Hill Country.

Hahaha! I live pretty close to the Hill Country, and I always laugh at these guys trying to go up hill. They look retarded. That, and it's fun to go 75 past them in the truck while they're trying to go uphill. They always freak.

Apple

Sonic

Comic to film adaption news story commenters

All car make fanboys (GM description fits every car forum I've ever read)

Sexually suggestive fan fiction for virtually any series.

This confuses me a bit. Do you mean the people who seem to have nothing but negative expectations for any in-production comic book movie? Like the people who won't stop bitching about Dark Knight Rises even though it's not even done filming yet?

AgentBurnwood wrote:They aren't the absolute worst of fanbases, but Family Guy fans are particularly irritating to me. I Saw the very first episode after the Super Bowl back in 99, and will never forget the genuine enjoyment and laughter I experienced watching that first episode. Compared to The Simpsons at that point, Family Guy was a breath of comedic fresh air. All my friends who I showed the tapes too also loved it. So I watched every episode until the cancellation, and would still occasionally watch all of the episodes on VHS tapes (had/still have all of them). While I regretted the cancellation, I accepted it and moved on.

And then overzealous fans got it returned to the air. And while the old episodes were still as good as ever, the "newer generation" of episodes just feel contrived and not as good as the originals. And the sudden explosion of popularity for the show (where the *^$! was it during the original run???) and how too many people now say they're fans of the show when they wouldn't and didn't care about it when it was good. And don't even get me started on the rampant over-commercialization of the show ever since it was dragged back into primetime....

/end quasi-nostalgic, wishing-it-were-still-obscure-and-cool rant 8)
I watched episodes during the first season and felt like it was just an edgier version of the simpsons but I never really got into it. I started watching it more when adult swim played it around 2003-2004 and now I watch it occasionally on tbs. I feel like it has the same highs and lows it's always had. . . . It's funny, but sometimes they just drag stuff out too long.

Pretty much. The ones who complain every time something is changed from comic to screen. Like organic webshooters, wolverine not wearing yellow spandex, etc.

Also every person who still thinks Harvey Dent is alive, that the Joker will make a cameo and be played by someone else or CG, and that ra's al ghul being in rises means that he has become immortal in the lazarus pit.

I would say World of Warcraft fan boys and one but not as bad, Kingdom Hearts fan boys

WoW fanatics just agitate me, even the gamers working at game stop that claim their fanboyism of WoW are annoying as crap and they're usually some very charming people lol....

Okay, I'll be the one to bite this time. What's wrong with the fans, other than liking a trilogy of movies you dislike?

I love the guys who think DKR is going to be a terrible filim because the set photos look silly. As if set photos don't make EVERY movie look silly.

Because we should all be glad that Hollywood Fs with the source material. We should just shut up and not have our voice heard and be happy that these characters that have been established for 40 years are gonna be completely altered. I'm sure say Harry Potter fans wouldn't care at all if Harry Potter took place in the "real" world and fought more "realistic" villains and explained all his powers through modern science. They would love it!
