No, the majority of Racketboy folks actually like Sonic games, at least as far as I can tell(personally I'm not a fan, but there's generally been a leaning towards Sega products on here since the inception of the sight), it's the fanbase which terrifies folks, mainly the ones that go around in furry suits or sit around drawing Sonic the Hedgehog pictures.

My thoughts are that racketboy doesn't have members for that long that would spam pony images. And you read my post wrong. The only people that don't spam ponies are the 5 year old girl fans. So, read my posts again.

"Hipster", though? I have a hard time seeing it as more than a random derrogatory word thrown around on the Internet all the time. I feel like they're the same as Jackalopes - some mythical animal that may or may not really exist. Maybe I'm living under a rock.
Walk into any Hot Topic store, and you'll see some real live hipsters. I remember the last time I was in one of those places. I couldn't wait to leave.

Most of us do, including myself. We just don't like some of the 3D Sonic games, or the furry subset of it's fanbase.

Sorry BoringSupreez, but I have to defend my honor.
Not saying anything about the "bronies" or whatever they're called. I don't have cable, so I don't watch television, and I don't really do much on the internet beyond here.

But didn't we have to ask you at one point to tone down all the pony stuff? I seem to remember you positing an awful lot about it at one point, and some members seemed to get annoyed.
Yeah, he used to, but I let him know he was taking it overboard, and he toned it down. You have to understand, I carry untold amounts of influence here on Racketboy.

I like a handful of Sonic games. But I wouldn't call myself a fan.

I would guess those furry suit fans are a small sample of the Sonic fan base...

Yeah, I've seen the vid. I thought it was funny but I've never seen dudes like that in real life. Maybe I should be grateful. :-/

Exactly. I love pretty much everything in Sega's 90's era catalog and that goes double for Sonic and NiGHTS.

Sadly, the Sonic fanbase can't avoid being defined by its more erratic members - crazy bat shit nuts Sonic fans make a hell of an impression.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

To be honest I always though they were furries and nothing more, what else they do?
