Which we have.

I know you know Boring, I'm just saying.
Actually, I've never been able to get our IRC chat thing to work for me, so I find it useless.
Really? Odd. I don't use it often, but when I do I've never had a problem getting on.

That's too bad. Its pretty fun when people are online.

Yeah, I just tested your link, and it worked fine. I don't know what the deal was.

Let me ask you guys something: Will you guys actually try it? If you're not in the same situation as Boring, I'd give it a try.

It's hard enough to get people here in the regular chatroom, let alone voice chat. I doubt it takes off, honestly.

That's fine, I don't care if it doesn't work out. I just thought it would be an easier way than typing, this is also a good system if oyu;re a moderator, it has Blacklists, muting and everything. :/

Voice chats work better with really large communities that have a lot of time on their hands. Not so well with places like Racketboy, which has only a few hundred regular users, most of whom are over 18 and have jobs and/or college to attend.

ok, I didn't know that.
Ok, Earlier AM asked me:
AmericanMuffin wrote:Can I give info for an unofficial Racketboy Ventrillo server... I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try.
I replied thusly, just in case someone had brought it up before. I wasn't sure.
Hobie-wan wrote:I don't know if someone has mentioned it before, they might. Use the search and see if there are any old threads about it to add on to.
He said he had searched and I just left it at that without a reply as I'm at work. Now aside from the fact I was at work, I have no desire to just chat with people during the day. I don't even like chit-chatting on the phone. For business or gaming it is fine, but if I'm going to shoot the breeze I prefer text or in person. I hadn't read about it in the suggestions thread or anywhere else until this thread was brought to my attention. Obviously even though I am a regular who does read a lot, I don't and can't read every thread.

Maybe some others do want to chat, though I thought AM meant for game use, not just a chatting thing like we use IRC for. Though regulars know we don't exactly have a packed 'bumpin' IRC every day. But hey, other people might so I simply said to see if someone else had brought it up in the past before making a new thread.

This. The easy thing about IRC is being able to go AFK and not worry about missing conversation.
