Voice Chat for Racketboy!!

Post by AmericanMuffin »

I just want to see how well this would work. The Ventrillo cost money to do, so I made one for Raidcall. Raidcall let's you discuss things via voice communication. I highly recommend you give it a try if you have a microphone. It also has text chat for you guys with no microphone.

Here is a guide to getting on:
Step 1: Go to Raidcall.com and download Raidcall for free.

Step 2:Create Raidcall account.

Step 3: When you get on Raidcall click the "Group" Tab and type in this ID in the "enter a group ID" box in the top left corner:1439856

Step 4: To get in anything except the lobby, the password is "Retro"

I want to keep the same rules as on the forum, the reason I used Raidcall is the Blacklist, which I can use to ban anybody that breaks rules. (I'll let the mods tell me what to do if the server gets big enough) Please enjoy this test server and tell me how you like it.

Here's what I think: I don't want to hear other people talking out of my PC speakers. I much prefer chatting via text. Plus, I have a very low download cap on my internet (I have satellite), and voice chatting would eat up too much of my download limit. An all-text chatroom would be more interesting to me.

you already posted this. And we deleted it and told you to move it to the suggestion thread. Which you did. Why are you posting it again?

That's one person who turned it down on the get-go :( And this isnt a second post, I took my idea, and made it a reality. I didnt suggest it, I made it, and I ran it through Hobie-Wan first.

I feel I would just instinctively use my Counter-Strike assholeness and just spam it. I don't know why but I just feel I would. I would rather not be known as that guy on the forums.

Actually, I've never been able to get our IRC chat thing to work for me, so I find it useless.
