In my case it's video only. Audio keeps on going just fine. As it manifested on my Slim brand new out of the box, I doubt it's an early sign of hardware failure. I thought along the same lines when I first saw it happen, but after testing and seeing it on a brand new console too...kinda leaning away from that.Lokkenjawnz wrote:The only thing I could think of is the beginnings of some sort of hardware failure. As suggested, my theory is more along the lines of HDCP handshaking or the like.
...and I too already had a 360 when I got the PS3. Which has worked flawlessly...albeit without the exclusives and Blu-ray playback I got the PS3 for
