Puppymills are the places of torture and sadness that the pet store buy their cute little pups from. The pups that are lucky enough to get out and be sold at these " wonderful" , "clean", "fun" places are not, by any stretch of the imagination, representative of the breeding dogs left behind! These breeding dogs are used up, made to have litter after litter with no breaks, given no time to be a dog, little to no vet. care, kept in the dark for long periods of time etc... The greed of man continues to amaze me. Google Puppymills, look it up on YouTube and see what the protesters are trying to change!!! Please educate yourself and then make your opinion known afterwards.

Cats suck, when buying a puppy in a mill, make sure it's from a wind mill or a treadmill :P

I have never met a cat that had anything comparable to the personality of a typical chihuahua. Usually the exact opposite, in fact.

Owning a Chihuahua, one of the common traits is that they lick their paw like a cat and cough up a hair ball..lol

I'm a little late to this thread, but would like to point out that there are many other types of mills as well - hamster mills, rabbit mills (especially the little dwarf ones), bird mills...often times people don't even consider checking a shelter to adopt a small animal. Sooo...next time you're in the market for a bunny, adopt! They sit in shelters forever and ever because they're so hard to place with families. Many won't even accept them because they consider it a waste of resources, so their owners just release them so they can be "free" ("free" as in dead).

Unfortunately the entire pet industry has a disgustingly high level of nasty activities going on in it. Being a shady bastard seems to be pretty much standard for the pet business.
