Thanks everyone for all these recommendations! I didn't know about a lot of these games before.

It may have a game already built in!

early versions had a cheezy maze game.

later versions have other, better games! Mine has Hang-on!

I haven't received it yet since I only bought it last night. That will be the first thing I try when it arrives. I had asked the seller what the model # was but unfortunately they are on vacation so they could't tell me. Which also means they won't be able to ship it right away. :(

Yes, you can in fact use shutter glasses for the PC with the SMS adaptor. Kurt Kalata mentioned this in the HG101 podcast that covered the SMS. I bet someone on the forums there can point you to an actual product known to work.

2. What games to you recommend?

I honestly haven't found too much I like a lot on the SMS. Aleste is great, but hard to come by. Phantasy Star is a must play. I know Ys is on the SMS, but I haven't played that version so I don't know how good it is. Gangster Town is pretty good if you have a light gun. Better than Duck Hunt for sure.

I've said it before, but I actually thought the SMS library was better than Genesis'.

So if I were to find some shutter glasses for pc they would have to be wired correct? Since it has to be connected to the 3D adaptor?

If you just want to play the game on a console, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (360/PS3) actually has the original Phantasy Star as an unlockable, and also includes II-IV as well (and 40-some other SMS/Genesis games).

Correct. It sounds like if you can find the type that uses a small headhpone jack style connector you should be alright. Anything compatible with Eye3D or eDimensional glasses should use that connection.

It still hasn't been shipped yet... I hope the seller gets back from their vacation soon. When it finally arrives I will post pics. Is the an opposite to game gear master converter? You know, something that will allow me to play game gear games on the master system? The game gear is basically a portable master system from what I heard. I lost my game gear and would love to play these games on the master system if possible.

The Game Gear has more colors and a few things above the SMS, so no there's no reverse adapter.
