There. I fixed THAT for you.Hobie-wan wrote:Fixed that for you.lisalover1 wrote:It's been proven: To infuriate a PC gamer, you need only to mention Deus Ex: Invisible War in conversation.
But seriously, DX:IW was a fucking abomination. I'd take the PS2 DX over that pile of slop. The original, on the other hand, is probably the closest we'll get to a Citizen Kane of gaming.
And hey, it's okay to not like Deus Ex, Hobie. A lot of people were wrong about Citizen Kane back then, too.

IW wasn't a bad game. It was just a huge, deluxe combo meal of a disappointment. But not actually bad. Sort of like if you were supposed to go to the moon for a field trip, and it was changed at the last minute to a trip to the zoo.the7k wrote:There. I tried playing Invisible War, but it wouldn't let me click on the first upgrade or whatever, and the game required doing that to proceed...so I was stuck.
Then it kicked my dog.
Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.
The original did take me a few tries to get into, but mostly that was due to me sucking at it. Once it clicked/I got better, I was hooked.
