If Deus Ex and Sonic the Hedgehog had a baby...

Post by J T »

Zombie Cow... er, I mean, Size Five (I don't know why they changed their name)... have just announced their newest game and it has a great concept. The Swindle is a 2D platformer, but the game is all about crime capers where you steal money using whatever strategy you see fit. It's also got a cool steampunk setting where you can hack with a typewriter.

If it has any of the same humor as their previous games Ben There, Dan That or Time, Gentlemen Please!, then this game should be a blast.

Sounds more like a cross between Sonic and Sly than Sonic and Deus Ex.

Well, that's how the developer described his own game. While Sly would describe the crime caper aspect of the game, I think the Deus Ex part is meant to describe how you can complete a mission with whatever tactic you choose.

It's been proven: To excite a PC gamer, you need only to mention Deus Ex in conversation.

Yes, and for good reason. Deus Ex is representative of what PC gaming is all about compared to console gaming.

Pretty sure the original was correct for the vast majority of PC gamers.

I know I know. I'm one of 3 people in the entire world that hate the game. :P
