I'm with the OP on this one. I've cried from many films but nothing like Grave of the Fireflies. I was crying like a mother fucker with that one. It was insane.

I also cry from watching anime often, but especially One Piece. Greatest story ever told.

Shit, i've cried during commercials. The movie that's most surprisingly brought me to tears during one scene was Rumble in the Bronx. Watched it on VHS around '97, so I was probably high as hell. I welled up and bawled a bit during the scene when Jackie Chan's character is trying not to let the kid who looks up him find out his sister is a prostitute, and she overhears them and tears up... or something like that, been awhile since i've watched the whole film.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I won't post where, as I know that dsheinem is still working his way through these.

 I was wondering if that might get a response. That movie is so manipulative and bad that it is ridiculous, but watching it with the right person at the right point in the relationship...seeing them go to tears spurned me to drip a few as well. So maybe it wasn't technically the movie that did it as much as the person I was watching the movie with...right?
Haven't seen the movie myself, and to my limited knowledge I just know it as a chick flick that was filmed a few miles away from where I work.

I cried during an episode of Blossom, but only because I was drinking a V&T and got lime in one of my eyes. Six's Father being absent had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

Ok, at the risk of sounding weird,...Gettysburg.

I know it's not what most would consider a tear jerker and to be honest i didn't cry so much as got a little misty-eyed, but towards the end when Gen. Lee told Pickett he had to tend to his division and Pickett looks up all teary eyed himself and says..."General Lee, sir. I have no division!" I just always found that seen kinda emotional and I guess part of that is the way the actors really played it well.

I feel safe saying that here because I don't personally know any of you and so I figure the ridicule will be easier to bare.

I felt the movie tried to make you cry, and when I felt that happen I was just like, really? And the ending was utter balls, I watched it with my GF, she was crying her heart out and I was just looking at her thinking, no way that actually worked on someone.

I didn't realize that there were this many girls on the site... :D

Seriously though, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Up!, and a few others for sure have made me cry or at least want to cry.

Also, since my son was born, all sorts of stuff gets me choked up. Anything that has to do with father/son stuff makes me all sad.
