Well, considering the only franchise that was making them any real money was permanently discontinued...

Still I hate seeing guys like this go, yeah people can pickup the rights to their stuff but I'm sure this would utterly kill any chance of seeing compilations of their games or anything. This is like watching Technosoft fade away again. Maybe we'll see some new R-Type games down the road from someone else, but yeah.

A Technosoft compilation would be a dream to me, too bad that'll never happen.
